An idiographic that explains how to do-it-yourself medical monitor. It shows a diagram that shows the process of monitoring blood sugar levels from diabetes patients and family members using a system to monitor blood-sugar levels from afar essentially hacking an FDA-approved device and uploading data to the internet. The diagram is divided into three sections. The first section is titled "Do-It-Yourself Medical Monitor" and shows a Dexcom device which is a device used to monitor the blood sugar level of diabetes patients. The device is connected to a receiver a receiver receiver and a nightspot software. The receiver receiver is used to transmit the body gathers glucose level data every five minutes and the receiver is within 20 feet of the transmitter. The nightspots software is used for monitoring the glucose levels in the body. The data is gathered by a customized website and displayed on the internet and a web browser can view the data. The diagram also shows how the device can be used to access the data stored in the device and upload it to a server.
